Hello and welcome to my new blog.

I have been tinkering about beginning a new blog for a long time now. I formerly blogged on blogspot, which really was a bit outdated and less efficient for all my blogging needs.

Another reason for starting this specific blog is that I formerly only wrote in Dutch, except for a few quotations I made in English. Anyway, as life proceeds I see myself very limited for using the Dutch language to express myself. Not only is it – in my opinion – less significant to use a lot of words anymore, but it also lacks a certain precise and clear way of defining a thought or thing. In the English language there is a more strict way of combining words than in Dutch. You may think this will only degrade the value of a language because it is less flexible – still the real function of language is to express. And whenever quanitity degrades quality, it is overdone.

Any frequent reader of my former blog will – hopefully – sense a slight movement in topics and interest I will write on this blog. I think I will have a more fruitful blogging process here. That’s my main idea for this blog…
